Selected work

Biography

Forest Christenson is a Los Angeles-based composer for film, television, and games, with over a hundred screen credits. He trained as an engineer at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions, on films including Dunkirk and Blade Runner 2049, and developed his own voice under the mentorship of Rupert Gregson-Williams. His score for To Kill a Wolf won the 2025 MASA Award for Best Feature Film Score; he has contributed music to HBO's The Last of Us, Amazon's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, DC's Superman, and 2K's Mafia: The Old Country, and his mix on the IMAX documentary The Blue Angels earned a Cinema Audio Society Award nomination. He came to film from experimental music, where he co-founded the duo Seabat and performed alongside Christina Vantzou and Lea Bertucci.
